Grandview East 1701

The pictures do not do justice to this magnificent condo. There is so much space and privacy. The deck is massive and you can see everything in the water which made it so much me for my grand babies because they saw dolphins, schools of fish and stingrays. So much stuff nearby when we needed food, activities or groceries. The hosts were also great and kept us really well informed. I hope to stay here again our family really enjoyed it. Thank you so much. Definitely rate this a 10 out of 10.

This property was absolutely breathtaking and I will return. Everything was as it said it was and ask the guest had a marvelous time.

Absolutely perfect location and the view was phenomenal!

We had an awesome time in this penthouse. It’s very spacious with the best view imaginable. It was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our family vacation. We will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful stay in the penthouse suite! We were without a washer for a few days but it did get fixed. Master suite bedroom door would lock us out, because it was broken. But I reported it and they said they will fix it. Other than those minor inconveniences everything was AMAZING!!!!!!

Condo was perfect for a staycation birthday weekend. Perfect views, amenities, parking and location.

We loved this place! The sitting room was the best! The only thing is the lack of trash bags and towels was a bit annoying. Besides missing the basics I couldn’t love this place more

Overall a good experience. The place was clean, spacious, with beautiful views. Our only complaint would be not enough towels or toiletries for a stay with 10 people. We ended up going and buying both. Don’t let that sway you though, it really is a beautiful place.

We booked last minute when we saw this penthouse was still available and very glad we did. We have stayed here before with some friends but haven't been here in two years, and the view is stunning and there is plenty of room, but last time the condo was needing some minor updating.

Nice surprise to find the penthouse updated and back in top shape. New paint, new living room furniture, reupholstered dining chairs, new outdoor furniture for the balcony, and even a new Keurig coffee maker. It truly lives up to the "penthouse" label again.

The view is worth the rental price alone, but now it is so much nicer it really made our stay great. The condo has plenty of room so you can spread out but also get everyone together. Lots of nice amenities--second fridge to put drinks in to save space in the main fridge and also a second microwave. Has a great blender to make frozen beverages and kitchen is fully furnished so we didn't have to eat out every meal. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels. A/C was great (2 zones so work them together and keep balcony doors closed).

Balcony is huge and wraps around the front and side of the condo so view is spectacular. We also enjoyed the beach service chairs and umbrella...just checked in at the kiosk at beach and setup for the day...super convenient instead of having to drag chairs and umbrella back and forth to the beach everyday.

Didn't want to leave at the end of our stay but will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

We had one of our best vacation. The Rental unit was in good shape, Clean, with beautiful views. We would like to stay again.

The condo had amazing views. Very spacious, plenty of room for our family of 12. Wonderful beach.

Rental was nice and spacious. Rooms were nice. The only down side was that none of the doors locked for privacy.

The condo is amazing! the views from the balcony with plenty of room for all. Direct access to the beach with chairs and umbrellas reserved on beach. We had plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 children. room to eat together and still quiet space for Grandma and Grandma with the sitting room off the master.

Upon entering this Penthouse, one steps into an expansive living room and kitchen overlooking a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. All of the moods of the Gulf can be experienced either inside through the wall of windows, or while relaxing outside on the grand balcony while having a cocktail or cup of coffee. We had eight adults who were happy with the condo and all of its amenities. The two master suites and other three bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with all the tools necessary for cooking any type of meal. An additional refrigerator comes in handy for overflow drinks or food and is a nice touch by the owner. The pool is kept pristine clean. The owner also provides additional beach chairs in case you need more than the four the rental provides. The Management Team was professional and helpful during the registration and check in process. I highly recommend this vacation rental. The location is convenient to stores within walking distance. I'm looking forward to returning next year!

Absolutely beautiful. Next time will rent directly with Condo not with VRBO, management said I would of save $500.00 . They allowed us to check in early with no charge. Had to ask 3 guys to please go somewhere else beside outside our door to get High that we have kids.

We have been to this rental twice now and we have loved it both times. The first time it was in much better shape than it is now. We came in 2014 and it was fresh and beautiful. This time she is a tired and sad condo. It so needs paint and updating. I couldn’t get over the wear and tear of the place. We had a terrible wind storm for 48 hours and we enjoyed the large windows to watch the storms but the doors to the patio don’t close enough to lock them and the wind howled through them. We love this condo but I think we may go somewhere else next time. Hopefully Grandview1701 will be redone soon.

View was fabulous, condo super large, plenty of room for everyone

We spent a week in this condo. It was very spacious and the location was great! A few tweaks and updates needed, but the facilities staff were very receptive and responded to the asks. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly and the back of a stool was broken off with a piece of metal sticking out so we had to be careful when sitting on that specific chair. A good deep clean and a few updates, this place would be top notch!!

The condo itself is nice and roomy. It needs a few things to make it 5 stars for me. We ran out of bath towels a lot. We only had 1 kitchen towel. The master bedrooms need blackout curtains in order for us to sleep a little later. Even the office (room connected to the big master) needs black out curtains that slide open and shut. The rental company was easy to work with. We did have maintenance crew show up a couple of times to fix a shower problem that we didn’t know we had. It was leaking into the condo below us. The maintenance crew was nice, but we couldn’t use the shower for 2 hours. If you’re looking for a big room, this is a good one. We’ve stayed at Grandview the last 3 years. This is the 2nd time in this particular unit. We stayed in the unit beside it last year, and it seemed to be a little more updated than this unit. Most importantly, the unit was clean.

This huge penthouse condo was a perfect family getaway. All rooms were very large especially the living area. The wrap around deck provided great views on warm days and the view was even great inside with floor to ceiling windows on cold days. Loved it.

The condo 1701 is huge. 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths was plenty of room for 11 of us, 5 being children under 10. Over all the condo was nice. The view spectacular. The place does need some updating and maintenance but having said that, when we called for sinks with broken stoppers, the gentleman came quickly and repaired them. I would recommend this place just because it was the best vacation we had . the beach and pool were a hit with the kids. Due to COVID we ate in and it really worked out. Despite the few things that need updating the place is ideal for a large family where kids can play hide and seek and really run around. I would definately come back.

The views from the condo are amazing! The size of the unit is perfect for large families. Our party of 11 didn't feel crowded at all. The balcony is huge. We just wish there would have been a table for us to sit at out there. There is so much storage space it's insane. We didn't use the pool at all because it was on the smaller size, but we prefer the beach anyway. The furnishings are dated, but the views more than make up for it. All the beds were very comfy too.

This was one of the most beautiful condos we have ever stayed in. The owner did a fantastic job with decorating and making sure there were plenty of dishes and cookware. The bonus refrigerator is so helpful when you have a large group. The elevators in this condo building were fast we never had to wait. Yes parking is across the street but there is a walkway and felt safe at all times.

The Condo is spacious, easy to make you spoiled. The Balcony is so large, with such great views you think you are on a cloud. Plus in the shad of the Balcony its a nice place for a nap during the hottest part of the day.
The Master suite is really TOO big, if that's possible, plus is has a beach room to put away all the beach supplies. There is an additional fridge for keeping the surplus of drinks cold. Only two elevators, but they are both fast, so the wait time is short. Extra parking is available across the street about 100 yards away for $6 a day.

We make a family beach trip yearly, and stay in different places for the experience. 1701 is one of our new favorites.

Everything was amazing, the condo was spectacular and the views were even more amazing. We had everything we needed and plenty of space for our 10 people. I highly recommend this condo.
