Tidewater 714

This is the second time in a month my family has stayed in one of Four Stars condos in Tidewater. We have been extremely pleased both times. They are comfortable, clean, and just as advertised. It’s nice to have a fairly private beach, when everywhere else is jam packed. It’s fairly central to anything you could want to do in the area. We’ll definitely continue staying here on our trips.

You can't go wrong renting through Four Star Condo Services. They offer top notch customer service every year. This year our stay was in Tidewater #714. The location was quiet and relaxing. The unit was clean except for the living room furniture and kitchen chairs that are in need of a cleaning. Two king sized beds in this unit made it perfect for us. Yes we recommend this rental condo. We enjoy the variety of restaurants in the area and among our favorites are Firefly, Triple J's and Donut Hole. Looking forward to our return next winter.

The living room furniture needs replaced. The sleeper sofa isn't worth sleeping on. My son slept on the couch cushions instead and was still uncomfortable. The view from the balcony was great.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Beautiful decor and comfortable beds. Everything was even better than described. Centrally located, walking to pier park and dusty's oyster bar. Complex has both an indoor and outdoor pool so no need to worry about the weather! Ocean views were breathtaking. The balcony was definite plus. Easy beachfront access. Astonishing views...cant praise this place enough! Looking forward to going back!

Good rental. Nice location. Beautiful view of sunsets. Convenient to everything. Enjoyed our month long stay. Needs some updating of beds and furniture. Not the most comfortable. Month stay was too long with uncomfortable beds.

I have been coming to PCB for over 30 years and this was one of our best trips ever. 8 of us in a 2 bed 3 bath condo was absolutely perfect. Beautiful views, very clean room and the staff was very professional.

We have stayed at Tidewater many, many times and have also booked with Four Star quite a few times. We arrived at 3pm to a vacant (and ready, as we were told) condo, but they wouldn’t let us go in one hour early without paying a $50 early check-in fee. Once we finally got in, the room was very outdated. The hot water heater comes on anytime you run hot water which was very annoying and very loud. There were no clothes hangers in either closet, nor any storage space except for a few dresser drawers. This was very complicating for a family of 5. As usual, the elevators were terrible at this resort. We likely will not stay here anymore.

Very disappointing. Four Star should give more info on check-in process at Complex. Tidewater is very confusing & irritating. Had to call maintenance as soon as we got checked in. Will never stay at Tidewater or use Four Star again.

Condo was roomy. Loved the King Bedrooms, bunks and the 3 bathrooms. However the King mattresses need to be replaced (worn out). Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Elevators are slow or not working like most high rises. 7th floor is perfect view and height. The beach lounge chairs included is fabulous. Four Star Condos offers great rates. Would stay again.

The condo itself needs some deep cleaning and TLC. I would replace the mattress in the master bedroom and the couch was not very comfortable. The kitchen was pretty well stocked - I would have liked to have had a crock pot but thats all that was missing.

We came down for Thunder Beach and got Dead Fish Beach. We came in on Thursday and left on Tuesday. We had dead fish on the beach every day. Friday was probably the best day. We did get in the water on Saturday. Sunday it rained; but, that didn't stop some of us. Monday we went; but, we did a lot of coughing, sneezing, and dealt with the smell. I only wished that there was some way that they could have kept the beach clean. The 2nd bedroom needs a new mattress, only the bottom plug worked in each outlet, and the only outlet in bathroom didn't work. The master bathroom plug didn't work. The couch in the living room is in need of a deep cleaning. The resort was very accommodating with us on the parking. We had parking for 2 vehicles, motorcycle, and trailer. And we had no problems with the elevators.

Everything in the condo was great except for the sliding door to the balcony was extremely heavy and difficult to open at times and the ice maker in the refrigerator did not work. Also, the guest bedroom had sand under the bed like it had not been cleaned.

This condo has amazing views of the beach!! Great location and loved how close is to the beach. It was clean and very spacious with comfortable beds. Loved the balcony too!!
Cons: The overall building could use some touch ups like painting the doors, more welcoming check in and staff. Also improve the slow elevators. The condo would be even better with simple inexpensive updates like maybe lighter paint colors and just the overall decor seems a bit outdated. Also a cleaner couch.
But overall very nice stay!! Definitely would recommend.
